]]> Wed, 29 Jun 2011 23:57:05 GMT 8560539AFE09F508199AD1867DF7638C summer of love http://excusesforskipping.com/news.cfm?feature=2407475&postid=1070334 after years of playing the dyke march guerilla style on 16th&nbsp;street (near the beloved adobe books headquarters) last weekend we were honored to play our first ever dyke march on the main stage. as i looked out over the crowd i was struck by the sheer numbers..and realized how far we've all come together. i was present at the first dyke march...around '93 and i remember climbing the statue on dolores and market (bellona, riding a pegasus). my friend fiver and i i shimmied out onto the very end of the sword as the dykes below cheered and raised their forties. that memory came flooding back on saturday as we took the stage and played our set...and i felt very grateful for our community&nbsp;of friends and of course, for the music. a special thanks to sistas in the pit for their smokin' hotness...what an inspiration they are as musicians and as all around sweet human beings~~~Tammy Wed, 29 Jun 2011 23:05:00 GMT 27099960A6567EDE90E5EC56ED221816
